Enjoy this short video from Gait describing her #quarantinelife
"Hello! My name is Gait. I have lived at BHJ for 7 years now. Right now, my school is closed for the summer. It may re-open by the first of July. Today, I want to share with you my activities here at Breanna's House of Joy while we are in lockdown.
During the lockdown, I like to play the keyboard. I will show you how I play a song about God's love.
Another thing that I like to do is go for a walk or play by the tree with the shade. It is nice and has fresh air!
It's nice to walk around. Look, here is a mango tree. See the mango? I also love to walk by the magnolia flower tree and pick up flowers. Can you see the beautiful flower?
Another thing that we do lot is cooking and eating! We made these pumpkin chips the other day. Now, we fried them. Don't they look delicious? Look at all these fried chips!
I love to draw because it makes me happy. And this is my drawing book. I will show you some pages. These are the things that I drew and painted. I like drawing these faces, but there are other ones that I like too. This one, I did 2 years ago. And these are my practice drawings and original artwork. This one is a gecko! Thank you!
Today, late in the day, I like to ride my bike with friends. It's nice because there is a cool breeze. When I am riding the bike, the wind blows on my face....it's nice....especially now that it's hot season. This is Lia, by bike riding friend! Bye bye!"
